Reaching out is hard. Here are words you can borrow. Not crisis chat — just company.
Tap a message to copy. Then send it however feels easiest — text, WhatsApp, signal, voice note. Asking for company is not too much.
"I'm overwhelmed and could use some company. No need to fix anything."
"Can you sit with me for a bit? I just don't want to be alone right now."
"My nervous system is overloaded. Can we talk about something gentle or distracting?"
"I'm struggling and could use some support. A pet photo would help."
"Could you stay on call with me for a bit? You don't have to talk."
"I'm not in crisis, just having a hard one. Could you check in later?"
"Can you remind me to eat / drink water in an hour?"
"I'd love some quiet company. Can we just be on a call doing our own thing?"
